1. Rinse the rice: Rinse the rice at least three times thoroughly until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
2. Add water and spices: Add 450ml of water to a pot and include turmeric, salt, mace, and the cinnamon stick. Mix everything well.
3. Cook the rice: Add the washed rice to the pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat (level 5). Cook for about 10 minutes until the water is almost completely absorbed.
4. Steam the rice: Stir the rice briefly, cover the pot, reduce heat to level 2, and let the rice steam for another 5 minutes.
5. Add the raisins: Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the raisins so they swell in the warm rice.
6. Serve: The rice should now be aromatic and flavorful. Serve immediately and enjoy!
