1. Wash the spinach: Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach in cold water to remove dirt and sand. Drain well.
2. Prepare aromatics: Peel and finely chop the red onion and garlic.
3. Sauté onion and garlic: Heat the coconut oil in a pan. Add the onion and garlic and sauté over medium heat until soft and slightly golden brown.
4. Cook spinach: Add the spinach to the pan. Sauté for about two minutes, stirring constantly, until the spinach wilts.
5. Add spices and almonds: Add the chili flakes, turmeric, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and fold in the chopped almonds.
6. Serve: Stir everything together, remove from the pan, and enjoy!
