Ingredients
(Servings: 4)
Dahl:
- 200 ml water
- 500 g washed red lentils
- 1 Tablespoon ceylon curcuma
- 3 cloves sliced garlic
- 3cm Long Ceylon Cinnamon Stick
- 1/2 Tablespoon Ceylon Curry Powder
- 2 small green chillies, chopped (optional)
- 100 ml coconut milk
- Pinch of salt, generous
Method
- In a saucepan, over medium heat, add water, Lentils, Ceylon cinnamon stick, curry leaf powder,ceylon curcuma,Ceylon Curry Powder and chilli to taste.
- Boil and cook for around 10 mins.
- Add water if needed. Lentils need to be soft.
- Add coconut milk or cream and salt and stir for a few minutes .
- Ready to serve.
